Why Join?

There is no other organization to our knowledge, which exclusively represents the interests of franchisees and there is a huge need for such representation.

It is impossible for individual franchisees or even small groups of franchisees to effectively influence the wide-ranging legal reforms that are required to bring balance and equity to the current franchising legislation.  

Strong, determined and directed representation is what FAAI offers all franchisees.

OBJECTIVES



Franchising: The Aims & Objectives of FAAI.

The following is a shortened version of the FAAI’s submission to Franchising Inquiries being held in South Australia and Western Australia and exemplifies the objectives of this Association. The fact that such Inquiries are being held is already evidence that many problems exist within the industry. The FAAI is ‘pro franchising’ and believes franchising is a successful business system with ‘win win’ outcomes for all participants, especially the Economy, if properly regulated by Governments and fairly promoted by Franchisors.

The FAAI offers the following background on the industry and then a 5-point proposal for achieving these objectives. We believe that “If we clean up the industry’s structural problems, we clean up the majority of the complaints”.
